きなこの真菌の治療のため動物病院へ行ってきました。
これまで飲み薬を投与し、1週間投薬しては1週間お休みしと、1か月以上治療を続けています。

そろそろ完治が見込めるかな？と思ったのですが、猫の真菌症とはやっかいなもので。
皮膚に感染した部分の毛が抜け落ちると新しい健康な毛が再生されますが、感染したままの毛が生えたままにしているとその毛から皮膚へ再感染してしまうこともあるよう。
今回は獣医さんの勧めで、毛を刈ることにしました。
まずは右足の真菌症に感染した部分を。

これまでは飲み薬の治療のみでしたが、ラストスパートに塗り薬も追加することに。
毛を刈ったので感染した皮膚部分に薬が塗りやすいです。
薬を塗った後の30分だけカラーを付けます。
