夫の実家への帰省の際に初めてきなこを連れて行きました。
We took Kinako for the first time on a trip back to my husband's parents' home.
夫の実家へ到着してからの数時間は落ち着かない様子でしたが、次第に家に慣れたようで行動が大胆になっていきました。
For the first few hours after his arrival he seemed restless, but gradually he became accustomed to the house and his behavior became bolder.
足長猫ほどではないにしろ、階段も我が物顔で上り下りします。
He goes up and down the stairs looking as if they were his own home, though not as much as a long-legged cat.
自分の家でもないのに、ニャルソック（警備）は怠りません。
Even though it is not his house, he does not neglect security.
夫の実家に慣れた頃、お散歩もしてみました。
When he was getting used to my husband's family home, we even took a walk together.
美しいお庭に興味津々です。
He is very interested in the beautiful garden.
寒いので家の中に戻ろうとしましたが、色んな場所へしつこく行きたがりました。
I tried to go back inside because it was cold, but he insisted on going to different places.
夫の実家のお庭がそんなに気に行ったのかな？
Did he like my husband's parents' garden that much?
目をキラキラさせて色んな場所を見て回って、きなこはとっても楽しそうでした。
He seemed to be enjoying himself, looking around at different places with a twinkle in his eye.
猫用ハーネスはこちら。きなこはSサイズです。
夫の実家も楽しかったけど、やっぱりわが家が一番なのかもしれませんね。
He enjoyed my husband's parents' house, but maybe our house is the best.
次に引越しするときは、きなこが気に入りそうな階段のあるお家にしようね～
